MARYLAND WINERIES ASSOCIATIONThe Maryland Wineries Association (MWA) is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to advancing and promoting Maryland’s wine industry. Established in 1984, the Association has long served as a unifying force for the state’s commercial wineries, supporting growth through education, advocacy, and strategic promotion. At its core, MWA is committed to elevating both the quality and recognition of Maryland wine. By fostering the production of high-quality grapes and wines, strengthening relationships across industry and government, and creating opportunities for collaboration among its members, the Association continues to expand the market and visibility of Maryland as a respected and evolving wine region. Through this collective effort, MWA plays an integral role in shaping a vibrant and forward-moving wine community.
THE 2025 VINTAGE REPORTMWA partnered with Lisa Sirbaugh Creative to reimagine its 2025 Vintage Report with a more refined, contemporary design approach—one that reflects the sophistication and continued growth of Maryland’s wine industry. The refreshed design focused on enhanced storytelling, pairing thoughtful typography with curated imagery and purposeful graphic elements to create a cohesive, engaging narrative throughout. We also reformatted the publication to introduce a print edition, extending its reach beyond digital and creating new engagement opportunities at events, expos, and industry gatherings. The report itself offers a comprehensive look at Maryland’s wine landscape, featuring insights into the state’s distinct growing regions, seasonal weather conditions, and the environmental factors that shaped the 2025 harvest. Supporting content highlights key considerations such as pest and disease management, cultivar selection, and top-performing grape varieties—complemented by a series of winemaker perspectives that add depth and a firsthand voice to the story. The Maryland Wine 2025 Vintage Report reflects a thoughtful balance of strategy and execution—bringing clarity, structure, and visual refinement to a complex body of information. The result is a cohesive, well-crafted publication that not only documents the 2025 year but also strengthens how Maryland’s wine industry communicates its expertise, credibility, and continued evolution.
