The latest edition of LogoLounge‘s bestselling book series has just hit the shelves! From 36,000 logos submitted, the judging panel selected three logos for inclusion in Book 14, developed by Lisa Sirbaugh Creative for clients: Bmore Grand, JR Capital Build’s Mews on Maxwell, and pianist Paul Warthen.
Book 14 showcases a curated collection of 3,000 winning logos created by talented designers from around the world. Meticulously reviewed and selected by a panel of industry experts, including some of the most respected names in the field, this volume is a valuable resource for creative inspiration and insights.
Being featured in LogoLounge, the world’s foremost logo showcase, is a genuine honor. I’m delighted by this recognition of brand identity work and especially thrilled for my wonderful clients. Being acknowledged alongside such remarkable work from global talent is incredibly humbling.

LogoLounge is the world’s premier logo showcase and research network for graphic designers who create brand identities, aka: logos. Members can search the database by keywords provided by the originator, or according to such criteria as designer, color, shape, symbol, client, etc. Members also bookmark and organize favorite designs in “Collections,” read articles pertaining to the graphic design industry, and connect with other members.
LogoLounge launched in 2002 and was created from a need for an efficient way to find reference material for logos. The site’s founder is identity designer Bill Gardner.
Logos submitted to LogoLounge are considered for publication in the affiliated book series. Each book features the top logos selected by industry judges and organized according to styles and trends.

Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts Announces 30th Annual Communicator Award Winners

The winners of the 30th Annual Communicator Awards have officially been announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. This year’s esteemed jury panel honored Lisa Sirbaugh Creative with four awards, including: two Awards of Excellence for clients Bankabox and Proffitt & Associates Architects, each in the category of Identity Program Campaign; and two Awards of Distinction for Bmore Grand in the category of Identity Program Campaign and ACNB Corporation in the category of Corporate Communications–Annual Report.

The American Advertising Federation‘s District 2 chapter officially announced the winners of the 2024 Regional American Advertising Awards. It’s an honor to share that this year’s esteemed judges honored Lisa Sirbaugh Creative with three District 2 ADDY awards. The winning work includes: a Silver ADDY Award for the Camp David U.S. Presidential Retreat Private Label Wine Series in the category of Packaging Design Campaign; a Silver ADDY Award for JR Capital Build’s Mews on Maxwell Brandmark in the category of Logo Design; and a Silver ADDY Award for JR Capital Build’s Mews on Maxwell Branding in the category of Integrated Brand Identity Campaign.

AAF Baltimore proudly unveiled the winners of the 2024 American Advertising Awards at last night’s ADDY Awards Gala, held at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. We had a wonderful evening catching up with friends, and celebrating incredible work and the talented people behind it all. I’m thrilled to share that this year’s judges honored Lisa Sirbaugh Creative with seven awards, including: a Judge’s Choice Award for logo design; two Gold ADDYs in the categories of brand identity campaign and logo design; and four Silver ADDYs in the categories of packaging design, annual report design, and logo design.

Graphis Announces the Winners of the Graphis Design 2024 Awards

Graphis has unveiled the winners of The Graphis Design 2024 Awards. It’s with great pleasure that I announce the name of my studio has officially changed to Lisa Sirbaugh Creative from the former Lisa Gorham Creative. This evolution comes after marrying fellow Creative Director, Seth Sirbaugh on September 17, 2022. And while the studio’s name has changed, its focus remains constant: develop beautiful brands that people connect with, shaped by strategy and creativity. Furthermore, Lisa Sirbaugh Creative will continue to provide the same elevated level of branding and graphic design services that my clients have come to expect.

American Illustration Announces 41st Annual Competition Winners

It’s an honor to announce that the Lisa Sirbaugh Creative (formerly Lisa Gorham Creative) illustration of Austrian composer, Johann Strauss Jr., created for Catoctin Breeze Vineyard has been chosen in the American Illustration 41 Competition. This year’s winning work will be presented at AI’s annual launch party and exhibition at The Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City on November 10, 2022. From more than 7,000 entries submitted by illustrators, magazines, agencies, publishers, and schools, only 796 winning entries were chosen and are on permanent display in The Archive. Of the winning entries, 307 pieces were selected to be published in the AI 41 Annual Book.

The American Illustration 41 Grand Jury
This year’s distinguished jury was made up of art, photo, and design creative professionals, including: Keith Henry Brown, Art Director/Illustrator; Shoshana Gordon, Axios; Dian Holton, AARP; Leeya Rose Jackson, Noise Makers Design; Ben King, BuzzFeed; Justin Long, Vanity Fair; Angelica McKinley, Disney, formerly Google Doodles; Matt Singer, Warby Parker; Andrea Zagata, The New York Times; and Zipeng Zhu, Dazzle.


The Johann Strauss Jr. illustration was created as part of the Catoctin Breeze Vineyard 2020 Waltz Albariño wine label design, the latest addition to their Composer Wine Series. Each wine label within this series showcases a famous composer, all of which were hand-drawn while listening to a notable composition by each respective artist. For the Waltz Albariño, Strauss Jr. was illustrated while listening to his Voices of Spring Waltz. This was the thirteenth illustration and wine label created for the series and the fifth to be honored by American Illustration. Four addition composer illustrations were selected for the American Illustration 34 Annual.

Founded in 1982 by a committee of esteemed illustrators and art directors, American Illustration–American Photography (AI-AP) was created as a direct alternative to other leading organizations and companies of the day who it was thought were not recognizing unconventional, “cutting-edge” work that was being produced by unheralded artists who were pushing the boundaries of commercial work.
The AI-AP juried award annuals, offering high visibility and well-deserved recognition where it matters most, are still published in all their large-format, luxurious, hardcover glory, staying true to their founding principles of celebrating great photographers and illustrators, lavishly showcasing commissioned and personal work that’s ahead of its time, while honoring the publications, creatives and agencies responsible for assigning and utilizing the winning images. Students and schools are also celebrated right along side established and emerging artists.
